        Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
4 				eggs
	1½ cups			sugar
	1 cup			vegetable oil
	1¾ cups			squash or pumpkin, cooked and mashed
	2 cups			flour
	2 tsp.			baking powder
	1 tsp.			baking soda
	1 tsp.			salt
	2 tsp.			cinnamon
	½ tsp.			nutmeg
Beat the eggs well in a large mixing bowl. Add the sugar, oil, and squash and continue to beat until thoroughly mixed. Sift the dry ingredients together and beat them in. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake at 350ºF for about 35 minutes. Cool, then cover with butter frosting.
