Pizza with Pears, Walnuts & Figs

Preheat oven to 400ºF

Ingredients

1 lb. fresh pizza dough, form into individual size
5 bosc pears, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1 jar fig spread
3 Tbsp. butter
walnuts, chopped
Gorgonzola cheese

Method

Heat butter in a large sauté pan over medium high heat. Add pears and lightly brown. Remove from heat.

Spread a thin layer of the fig spread on pizza dough going almost to the edge. Add pears. Sprinkle with walnuts and dots of the gorgonzola cheese.

Bake until golden brown about 5-6 minutes.

Serves 4-5
