Our Own Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

18-20 tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tsp. garlic, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. oregano (or basil)
1 tsp. olive oil

Method

In saucepan, add olive oil, onion and garlic to medium heat for about 8 minutes. Add your chopped tomatoes and oregano to high heat for 10 minutes. Lower to simmer for 1 hour. Salt and pepper to taste.

Serves 5-6
