Carrot Raisin Nut Salad

4 cups carrots, peeled, shredded (about 1 lb. without tops)
½ cup walnuts, chopped
½ cup seedless raisins
2 tsp. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
dash nutmeg
3 Tbsp. orange juice
⅓ cup mayonnaise


Mix the carrots, walnuts, raisins, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange juice very well. Stir in the mayonnaise. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
