WHAT to EXPECT at YOUR FIRST SHARE PICK-UP

The day we've all been waiting for is upon us and we cannot wait to hand you your basket full of goodies. But before we begin, I thought I'd give you a preview of what to expect next week and some helpful tips.

• Are you a Tuesday or Thursday pickup? Be sure to show up on your designated day for pickup as share baskets and membership cards will be divided by day. If you can't remember which day you chose, give us a call.

• Remember that weekly share pickup time is between 12PM and 7PM. While picking up your share basket will usually be rather quick, expect the first week to take a bit longer as we distribute your membership card and get to know you a bit. We promise to get you on your way as fast as we can.

• There will be lots of friendly faces on hand next week to help with pickup, but your main point of contact (for the entire twenty weeks) is Donna Keane. If you know Donna from shopping the stand, you'll know just how helpful she is. With over a decade here at Wilson's, we're confident that Donna is the perfect person for our CSA.

• The exact contents of your weekly share won't be chosen until Monday of each week. We will post the week's contents at wilsonfarm.com/csa.html the minute we get it from Jim Wilson.

CSA MEMBERSHIP CARD FAQ

As you know from our last eMail newsletter, your CSA Membership Cards will be distributed at your first pickup (see banner above). That being said, you may have some questions - so here are our anticipated FAQ's:

What does my card do?
Your Wilson Farm CSA Membership Card primarily serves as your identification when you pick up your weekly share basket.

In addition, your card entitles you to a 10% discount on almost anything in the stand (including our garden shop & open-air nursery) on your day of pick-up (Tuesday or Thursday).

Your 10% discount does not apply to custom orders, gift card purchases, special case pricing, produce seconds, future CSA shares, and specials marked with “no other discounts apply” (N.O.D.A). You also cannot combine your 10% discount with other discounts or coupons.

How do I use my card?
When picking up your weekly share, present your card at the pick-up location and we will hand you your basket.

When using the card for your 10% discount on additional items, simply present it at any register prior to checkout. The cashier will scan your card and apply the discount.

When can I use my card?
Your card entitles you to a 10% discount on your day of pick-up (Tuesday or Thursday) only. While weekly share pick-up hours are 12PM to 7PM, your card will work the entire day.

Who can use my card?
WIlson Farm is happy to extend this discount to you, our loyal locavores, but ask that you don’t share your card (and discount) with 3rd parties.

If you routinely share your discount with non-CSA members, we reserve the right to rescind your 10% discount.

What if I forget my card?
Don’t worry, you’ll still receive your weekly share, and can get your 10% discount as well. However, it may take a few extra minutes to get your share and a few more to retrieve your card number from our system - so remembering your card will definitely save you time.

If you lose your card, please let us know and we will replace it and assign you a new number.
