Just for Kids!

Kids Farm Tours

Every Spring & Summer, Wilson Farm invites children and families to experience our 33-acre farm through free educational tours and hands-on activities designed to inspire curiosity, learning, and a love for farming. From exploring the fields and greenhouses to meeting our friendly barnyard animals, each visit offers a behind-the-scenes look at life on the farm and how food grows from seed to table.

Children ages 2 – 5 are invited to a hands-on exploration of Wilson Farm. We’ll take a walk in the fields to see what’s growing and visit the garden area set aside just for our young farmers to plant and pick. Children will get a close up look at the tractors and trucks that work on the farm. Games and art activities will round out a fun and educational experience on the farm.

Meet Our Barnyard Animals Tour
Come meet the friendly animals of Wilson Farm! Kids will get up close with our alpacas, goats, chickens, and even our cow while learning fun facts about each animal and their unique personalities. Feel the softness of real alpaca wool, discover how it’s used, and sample delicious goat cheese made from goat’s milk. This hands-on farm experience is full of learning, laughter, and unforgettable barnyard fun!

This tour free of charge, but registration is required. Space is limited and will fill fast. See dates and times below. Please call 781-862-3900 in advance to reserve your spot.

Toddler & Kid Farm Tours
Bring your little farmers behind the scenes at Wilson Farm for a fun and interactive farm adventure! Children will explore our fields, visit the greenhouse, and get a special behind-the-scenes look inside our store while learning how food travels from our farm to your table. Along the way, they’ll discover what we grow, how plants are cared for, and the important role farms play in everyday life. Each child will take home their very own herb plant to nurture at home, inspiring curiosity, gardening, and a love for farming long after the tour ends!

Toddler Farm Tours (Ages 2–5)
Designed especially for our youngest farmers, this shorter, hands-on tour introduces children ages 2–5 to life on the farm through interactive exploration, games, and art activities. Little ones will learn about the farm in a fun and engaging way while enjoying a close-up look at the tractors and equipment that help keep the farm running. It’s the perfect introduction to farming, nature, and discovery for curious young minds!
