2 pounds carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Freshly ground pepper or Dash cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Place the carrots in a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle them with the salt, sugar, and either pepper or cinnamon. Stir to mix. Dot with butter. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350*F for 45 to 50 minutes or until done. Stir once halfway through the baking period. Note: You may also bake carrots at 400*F for 40 to 45 minutes.
