Vegan Chocolate Cake


Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease and flour 2 10" cake pans


5 cups all purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
3½ cups brown sugar
1 Tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 cups water
1 cup olive oil
3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1¾ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract


In a bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. Slowly combine, making sure not to over mix.

Divide into cake pans. Bake for about 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack. Garnish with powdered sugar, frosting or your favorite jam.
