Kale Gratin


Preheat oven to 350ºF


1 tbs. butter
1 chopped onion
1 chopped garlic clove
1 bunch kale, stemmed and chopped
½ cup chicken broth
⅓ cup heavy cream
1 cup panko
1 tbs. melted butter
1/2 tsp. paprika
salt and pepper


Melt the butter in a skillet, and add the onion. Cook until golden, about 5 min.
Add the garlic and cook another minute. Add the kale, chicken broth, cream, salt
and pepper. Cook, stirring, until the kale wilts. Grease a gratin or casserole dish,
and add the kale mixture. In a bowl, mix the panko, butter and paprika. Top the
kale mixture evenly with the panko. Bake 20 min.
