Caprese Salad


  • 2-4 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 8 oz. fresh mozzarella
  • fresh basil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Slice tomato and mozzarella into 1/4-inch slices. Slice basil leaves into thin strips.

Alternate tomato, mozzarella, and whole basil leaves overlapping on a plate. Drizzle with balsamic and olive oil and top with sliced basil leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
