Loving Locavores
Locavore |ˈlōˌkāvôr| noun
Locavores eat food grown or produced locally, believing that the best-tasting and most sustainable choices are foods that are fresh, seasonal, and grown close to home.
While the word "Locavore" was coined in 2005,
Wilson Farm has understood the value of locally
grown produce since 1884.
The Wilson family meticulously farms over 600 acres of land in Lexington, Massachusetts and Litchfield, New Hampshire producing over 100 different varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Much of our seasonal crop is sold within hours of being harvested.
Our family eats our harvest, we hope yours will too.
